A French-Inspired Lowcountry Wedding in Beaufort, SC
Is there anything more romantic than a night in Paris? At Beaufort Bride, we think so – how about a Lowcountry wedding with flair of French elegance and bourgeois? The glamour and sophistication of the ‘Old World’ seamlessly meets casual and fun at Lauren & Louis’ nuptials. We love the blend of two very different styles colliding into one beautiful celebration.
The Beaufort Inn served as the perfect backdrop for the bride & groom’s reception after saying ‘I Do,” at St. Peters Catholic Church, downtown. The Beaufort Inn is a monument to the beautiful architecture and refinement of the Victorian period.
The sweetness of the reception details, like the soft tulle, pre-set place settings, lovely hydrangeas and that stunning damask blue tablecloth all bring together a unique look that inspires and takes you somewhere new and exotic.
Beautiful tablescapes and unique flatware and dishes keep the theme fresh and whimsical. Tabletop paper, including the nametag and menu, personalize the affair and seat assignments, though never a simple task, are a great and inexpensive way to add a personal touch to any reception.
The Bride’s elegant gown made a bold statement with soft and sweet details in lace, making this the ultimate in romantic dresses.
An elegant and simple up-do and veil were the only accessories needed to complete the look – with the exception of these incredibly fabulous shoes, which were appropriately, ‘something blue.’
After dinner guests enjoyed photo shoots with some adorable props.
(a planning favorite, here at Beaufort Bride)
Nous l’aimons”!!! (“we love it” in French) …Congratulations to the beautiful Beaufort Bride – Lauren and her handsome groom Louis.
