If you are planning your wedding day, then chances are you have already chosen your perfect wedding dress or, if you are the groom, the perfect wedding day suit. Now that you have your main outfit chosen, the question still remains. What accessories should you wear with your wedding dress or suit? Below are some ideas on how the bride and groom can look their best on their wedding day with the help of some show-stopping accessories.
For the Bride
- Clips, Pins and Hats: Every bride should have beautiful bridal hair on their wedding day and there is no better to do this than with a couple of pretty floral clips and sparkly pins. Add a unique spin to your wedding day look by incorporating a vintage hat.
- Veils: The veil is perhaps the most important accessory of all. It is the second thing your guests will notice after your wedding dress. To rock your wedding day look be sure to match the style of your veil to your dress. Shorter veils tend to go well with modern dresses, while full traditional gowns with lots of layers match better with a full veil.
- Jewelry: From necklaces and earrings to bracelets and headpieces, there are a ton ways to accessorize your wedding day look with jewelry alone. When choosing what jewelry to wear be sure pick jewelry that best represents you and will show everyone your true personality on your wedding day.
- Wedding Shoes: You can wear any shoe style on your wedding day. The choice is completely yours. Just remember to choose a style of shoe that you are comfortable in and also complements your gown.
For the Groom
- Bow Tie: If there is one thing for certain, it is that the bow tie is back in style! It’s a classic look that can make any man into a gentleman. It’s also a great way to add a pop of color to the groom’s wedding day attire.
- Waistcoat: Complete change the look of the groom’s wedding day attire with a classic waistcoat! They come in a variety of colors and patterns including bold patterns or a neutral color scheme. Just remember to match the bride and to not steal the show from her!
