Add a little sparkle to your wedding by ending your evening with a grand sparkler exit! Wedding sparklers are a great way to engage your wedding guests and also add an element of magic and wonder to your wedding. Wedding day sparklers are also one of the hottest wedding trends for the current season, which are guaranteed to make a lasting impression! To help make your grand wedding sparkler exit go as planned, below are 6 tips to follow when incorporating sparklers on your wedding day.
- Ask Your Venue: Check with your venue if it is okay to use sparklers on their property. The venue may have certain rules against using sparklers for safety and environmental reasons.
- Tell Your Guests: You will want to let your guests know when the sparkler exit is going to be ahead of time because you will want as many people as you can get for your send off. The more sparklers you have, the more magical your exit will be.
- Have Enough Outdoor Space for Everyone to Use a Sparkler: The last thing you want at your wedding is for you or one of your wedding guests being burned by a sparkler because there wasn’t enough space for everyone to use a sparkler.
- Have Enough Matches: You will need A LOT of matches in order to light all of those sparklers. To ensure everyone has enough matches you can hand out monogrammed matchboxes to everyone as a wedding a favor.
- Test Your Sparklers: Before you buy all of your sparklers, go and test out a few different brands first. This is because, depending on the brand, some sparklers will stay lit for a few seconds, 30 seconds, and minute.
- Properly Dispose of Used Sparklers: Be sure to have a way for your guests to properly throw away their used sparklers. One common method to dispose of used sparklers is to put them out is in a galvanized steel pail with sand.
